Prospecting Services
Government Agencies
SBCA provides prospecting services for clients that do not want to spend their selling time researching government agencies. We gather purchasing intelligence about the agency you would like to sell. We convert that information into a report that you can use to start marketing to that agency the next day. Some of the information we include in the report is as follows:
- Buyer (s) that purchase your product or services
- Small Business Liaison contact and determination of their ability to help the client
- End User information
- Purchasing history
- Competitors sales to this agency
- Competitors strengths and weaknesses
- Preferred method of purchasing under the FAR’s
- Typical Order size
- Typical order frequency
- Overall rating of value of the agency to the client
We start the process with an analysis of the client’s goals and expectations from selling to government agencies including in depth of the strengths and weaknesses of the clients products and/or services.
The client selects the agency that they want us the research and we start the process. Within a few weeks the client knows everything they need about that agency. The narrower the target the target the better results, so if you ask us to research the Department of Defense your report may not help you much. However, if you ask us the research the buying habits of one military base you will have everything you need to sell that base.
